Bible Verses About Self-Control.
Self-control is the ability to say no to what you want in the moment for the sake of what is good. Scripture treats it as a sign of maturity and a fruit of the Holy Spirit.
The Bible does not ask you to manage this on willpower alone. God's grace trains believers to live differently. These verses show what self-control protects and where it comes from.
