Bible Verses About Obedience.

Obedience in Scripture is not a way to earn God's favor. It is how people who have been rescued respond to the God who rescued them. Israel heard the law after God brought them out of Egypt, not before.

Jesus ties obedience to love. Those who love him keep his commands, and his Spirit gives the power to do it. These verses show what obedience is, where it comes from, and why it is good for you.

Obedience flows from love

Jesus links keeping his commands to loving him.
